For this baby, they have prayed.
There is someone special I would like for you to meet. His name is Maverick, he has a unique story and it's just starting. Maverick was born premature and had to spend some time in the hospital NICU. Generally, even if a baby is born a couple of days before a mother is considered full-term they will have a baby go to the NICU. Maverick however was born at 32 weeks he weighed 3 pounds 2 ounces and he was 16 inches long. Little Maverick didn't know that he had a village of family and friends praying for him. It's not been easy for Maverick or his family, but he fought hard and his mom and dad were with him every step. Today I got to meet Maverick for the first time and what a bundle of joy he is! You can see all those around him fiercely love him. He's never without arms to hold him or to tell him how cute he is.
I have no doubt that big things are in store for his future.
