I don't even know where to begin with Matt and Riley's story. I guess we can start with their engagement. Their engagement photos were taken on the hottest day of the summer. We met at eight o'clock in the morning and it was already about eighty-five degrees out. We took some photos for about thirty-five to forty minutes, and then we decided we had melted enough for the time being and we left to go get something to eat. Little did Riley know I was planning a little bit of a surprise for her. You see, Riley wanted her wedding to be decorated with her favorite flower, sunflowers. So I just couldn't do their engagement photos without having sunflowers in them! I found a local sunflower field and scheduled an appointment for later that evening. Now, let's go back to the story. After we had breakfast we went back to where my car was and I decided to leave and prepare for later that evening. We had to find a way to meet up with Matt and Riley again so it didn't seem too conspicuous. So later that day I contacted Matt and we made plans to have dinner. When I arrived I told them I had another location nearby and asked if they wouldn't mind smiling for a few more photos. They loved the idea and after dinner, we drove out to the surprise location. Riley was surprised to find the sunflower field! She had no idea, and it made the day worth it all! The heat was almost unbearable, but we stuck it out and created some of the most stunning photos! In the end, if you have the opportunity to make something extra special, do it you won't regret it!
